Although he'd wait until having spoken with Isidore, to make it official and public...Gregorick had thought of many things, while away with the men ready to do battle.
And, while he did not think he would love her, or any woman...If the old WaltheSeer lands wree aligned with those of the deSpencer, by marriage...Then even after his death, a death he expected and was at peace within at the likelyhood of, in the war to come with Zackfare...Then at least when she remarried, the WaltheSeer lands and the good people that lived and worked there, would be hopefully safe if alinged with her and her new husband...
And...if he could possibly get a son and heir on the lady, before his death he believed not too far off in the future...Then all the better.
Gregorick went to Isidore, and in the privacy of the King's pavilon, spoke to his friend and Soverign....
Spoke of his intent, though not his belief that he would die, perhaps before even ever seeing a son born of the union.
And then waited...For Isidore's decree.
